3 -Tagsby JutildaComment: This is such a hard shot to get right - I'm going to go ahead and advise you to get better detail in the blacks next time but honestly I don't know how you would do it. :) Great noble pose, I like how you composed your subject, but the darkest tones need more detail IMO. Can't tell if the overall shadowiness of the image is from processing or if it really was the light you had to work with on the day, but if this was shot when it was overcast, try something similar on a brighter, sunnier day and see if that helps. |

House of Sand and Fogby noranekoComment: Very nice perspective and you picked a good high-contrast pair of subjects (fence and sand) that do well with b&w. |

Go Awayby BenComment: Very nice - like the processing on this one and the DOF. |

Highriseby AliciaComment: Wow - this is a good building for contrast, isn't it? Not sure about the trees though - they seem a bit unreal, from what I assume is the result of processing. Although, the trees as they are included in the composition is very engaging - the varying heights and how they continue past the frame (not seen whole) lend more visual interest to the shot. |

Dodgeby BAMartinComment: These subjects are so great for b&w - but not crazy about the vignette obscuring the detail on the right side of the image. |

Day 3by daboardergirlComment: Love the expressions here - would agree with another commenter that a black border (maybe even a bit thinner) would be better here to contrast better against the relatively light tones of all the image edges. |

two/thirtyby UNCLEBROComment: Very dramatic, lots of energy here. Vignette suits the mood of the shot. |

B&W - Day 1by mkComment: Nice "smokiness" to the tones and the perspective elements are great. Especially like how you can make out the individual cinder blocks of the building, even though it's pretty far in the background. |
