Very dramatic, lots of energy here. Vignette suits the mood of the shot.

I love the border!

Unclebro, you and I must both live in Charleston, 'cause if that's not Morris Island Lighthouse, then I'm going crazy :-) This is a wonderful capture of it - better than I've taken IMO. Love the crashing waves and vignette.

Great photo, lots of impact everywhere. The sky, waves splashing. Very nice.

there is so much going on in this pic. the water, the rocks, the clouds, the lighthouse in the distance. the border just enhances the mood. love it!

Kick butt sky in this! The waves are bit blown, but it's tough to get them without losing all detail in the water, yes? The vignette frame is just a wee bit too thick for my tastes, but it does suit the photograph nicely.

Love the black frame, shame the waves were a bit blown.

Wow, now this is a dramatic lighthouse shot with some movement! Love how the waves are smashing among the rocks in the foreground of the shot while we see the lighthouse in the distance. As I said you captured a dramatic moment that captivates the viewer's attention. Love the clouds too. You have a great tonal range here. I am not to sure on the choice of a border. One one hand it adds a nostalgic, old time feel because I get the sense of aged edges and looking through a window of times gone past. On the other hand, it sometimes distracts & detracts from the main image.

I don't really care for the border but, otherwise I think it's a beautiful pic. Wave spray is a bit blown.

Strong image, huge impact to the virwer, and it all, a great composition.
Maybe the waves look a little blown, but it seems to suit the image quite well.

this is pretty dramatic, not sure about the border. if you wanted a strong border look maybe make it look "filmy" as the photo itself in very "filmy".
nick "filmy"

Great image but I have the say the graduated border doesnt do it for me. Would have preferred either none or a really crisp black one

the vignetting works really well for this photo - the plaement of the lighthouse at the left third and the exposure on sky are so well done. I am not a great fan of the spray - seems a little blown out - but the vignetting allows this to look as if intended - nice PP

Cool effect - looks like an ancient scene. Very dramatic with those waves and the border.

This is, so far, my favorite. I love the detail of the water spray, waves, rocks, the sky, the composition, the lighthouse in the back... the edging of the border. Very nice.

Powerful. I like the deep rich tones. I like the faded in frame as well. Good composition on this one. Lighthouses are so intriguing to me.

like the border and the slight blur of the photo gives it a vintage feel.

Very dramatic shot (perhaps in great part because of the sky and the splash). Nice. I'm seeing a yea and a nay on the border, I'm conflicted...sigh!

wow, this is quite dramatic and the vignetting is increasing this effect even more. beautiful composition and very nice tonal range.

Very good image, sky is great, the only thing that I don't like is maybe the border, but that's matter of taste.

Very dramatic! Great scene you captured, although the whites on the waves are blown. I am not fond of the dark edges/border.

Wow! This was an excellent candidate for b&w. Very dramatic! I am unsure of the framing though.
