Day 28b - Lava Sparkle by sherpetComment: Of a and b, I like the framing of this one best - the broad strokes work best when there are fewer of them, I think. Lovely how you turned the bokeh into a central feature of the composition. |

by sevilduvarciComment: Nice happy accident of positioning - with the lane lines forming a left-pointing arrow right at her. The motion blur makes for a strangely elongated subject - adds to the surreality. Very simple, and effectively mysterious. |

Menby LevTComment: I love the variety in this, and how the seated man is making a connection with the child in the stroller. I think it might, for me at least, be improved if the pedestrian on the left were cropped out - keeps the eye on the central "action". |

Hushby xianartComment: I like how you used depth of field here to present a still life that blends into an abstract. Very nice. |

Triple Glass Refraction by AlexSaberiComment: Very crisp and nice tones - wonder if it's the same person who did the Science entry? :) Nicely executed all the same - 9. |

Swan Lake by De SousaComment: Marvelous idea and execution. To take that conceptual leap from presenting a paper swan on "water" of any sort, to a sea of musical notes that illustrates the word play with swan on a lake/Swan Lake is admirable. Edges of the swan against the black look slightly jaggy on my monitor - don't know if it's down to lighting or sharpening. Nevertheless this shot rates a 10 from me. |

Fill your life with joy by LalliSigComment: Impressively sharp motion capture and DOF. Nice choice of clothing colors to contrast with the surroundings and the addition of the balloons as props. |

Expectationsby jasonlpriceComment: I like the eagerness displayed by all those reaching arms, and how you draw out several connotations of "expectation" in this image. The sly eye on the left is icing on the cake. |

Determinationby JPRComment: Successfully evocative of the concept you are trying to convey. I like that the "background" angled through the composition stays dark and relatively featureless - it effectively serves to keep the eye on the main subject. The foreground stoplight provides further "story" and context, as well as anchors the left side of the frame. Great job! |

A Beat From Withinby JawnyRicoComment: Fantastic - great framing and "burst" directionality, great catchlights in the drops, nicely saturated colors. A 10 from me, I personally see nothing to improve. |
