day 13. Fionaby ShannonLeeComment: This is such a fun and funky portrait - successful both at capturing sense of character and sense of place. The eye moves around at first, until it finds the true subject in the bottom corner, like a revelation. |

welcome.jpgby electrolostComment: The Day After - emerging from the bomb shelter. The way the light makes his head look like an xray lends it that apocalyptic feel. Ah - now I see the feet pointing towards me and the title - welcome - hmmm...still think he's going out the door rather than beckoning before it. :) Negative space is a knockout here. |

Baby Girlby SandyPComment: Very lovely shot - processing works really well and the framing is great. I immediately zeroed in on that sharp shoe though - don't know why that is so distracting with so much loveliness in the frame to gaze at, but there it is. :) |

will you marry meby jmritzComment: Boy, that assessing look makes me dread the answer. :) Puts the viewer square in the position of the one who proposes, and all the anxiety and anticipation that entails. |

Unhappy Camperby Art RoflmaoComment: Even without the help of the facial expression and those hands, you've captured yourself here a very wet set of eyelashes! This is a great capture of gesture and expression. |

Walking.... After Midnightby GermaineComment: The noisiness could probably stand to be toned down a little, but overall I really like this capture - despite the OOF, clearly recognizable as a beach and the main subject is well lit and stands out well in all that murky darkness. Somber, but with a hint of menace - that black shape in the water heading towards the figure. |
