I really like the composition and overall feel of it. I wish he were a little clearer, just so I knew it was a person without reading your notes. But hey, you got a good shot under fast-changing circumstances. Well done! |

Even when you don't try to hard you turn out exquisite photos using blur! What a lucky thing that he was wearing such bright orange to contrast with the beach and the dark water and horizon. This is good! (of course)

The noisiness could probably stand to be toned down a little, but overall I really like this capture - despite the OOF, clearly recognizable as a beach and the main subject is well lit and stands out well in all that murky darkness. Somber, but with a hint of menace - that black shape in the water heading towards the figure. |

oooo, yes. this works perfectly. dark, mysterious. the colour being picked out makes the viewer's focus so easy. we know it's water, we can see the swell. i can almost smell the salt. |
