Stable Handby pointandshootComment: I've been waiting for your pinhole shots to appear...the noise seems to complement your subject, suggestive of all that dirty work involved. I like your choice to only stay in the shot for 2/3rds of the exposure - interesting how some saw the wall of the barn as creases in a supposedly old photo. Nice work. |

twistyby skewsmeComment: Haunting feel to it - would not be nearly as interesting to look at if it were brighter, glad you kept it dark. |

Staircaseby MelethiaComment: Those shadows from the step rises look like bayonets - I imagine a column of guards, photographer's right, standing at attention. |

New Schloss wallby MelethiaComment: Looks like just the right proportion of elements in the frame, whatever that is - I mean it looks "right" to my eye. Nice study of shape and color. |

33.52 Tourists in Strasbourgby MelethiaComment: I like how the wide angle accentuates the curves of those cobblestones, and those deep shadows are gorgeous and lend a nice atmosphere. Don't think it's overprocessed at all - in fact, given its leanings towards b&w film-iness, I'd say a bit of grain wouldn't go amiss here. |

Little Red Riding Shoehornby Yo_SpiffComment: Grandma, what big pecs you have... Completely missed this in voting, not sure how, but would have given you kudos for the humor. Must be hard to carry her basket without arms, though. ;) You know, you might actually be the highest-scoring Brown in quite some time. I would not have thought a 4+ was brown-worthy. |

Park and Rideby jaysonmcComment: Really nice, like how you kept this dark and true to the moment, plays up the concepts of suburban loneliness and isolation quite well. |

Sleepwalkby HipychikComment: I like the detail of that rut the walking stick leaves behind, to emphasize the aimlessness of the carrier. Great idea for this challenge. |
