| those gold tones in the scattered leaves contrast nicely with the stark shadows from the strong iron fencing - kind of a juxtaposition of thought and feeling given the comparison of solid ground -vs- stairs. Made me think! - Well done |

| Wonderful play on shadows and shapes. I can imagine this in b/w but agree 100% on leaving this in color. The scattered leaves make this extra special. I'm afraid that would've been lost in b/w. |

| this is fantastic. I love who the composition and competing lines make it very difficult to discern the actual steps or which direction they're going. |

| Those shadows from the step rises look like bayonets - I imagine a column of guards, photographer's right, standing at attention. |
