I like the tones and the use of the entire gray scale palette.

This is beautiful. I can imagine someone weeping from the camera's POV.

Evocative! But the extreme shake blur is making me a little dizzy. I'll have to look at this again when I'm sober.

Umm.... It's just not doing anything for me. *sigh* I've tried.

I've come back to it several times... nothing. I'm sorry.

Even sober, this is too oscillating for me. It's like a blinking light. I can't look at it!

love it - it's trance-inducing!

It reminds me of the concept of de-materialization. The title prompts me that way. It's cool!

This almost makes me a little queasy like I just got off of a roller coaster. I can not look at this very long at one stretch.

I like the fact that it seems to shimmer, but it gives me a headache. :(
Great concept, but not effective in the end.

Originally posted by digifotojo:

It has a definite mood to it... if you take the time to trance-state into it. At your own risk of course. ;-)

This is wonderful. Not everyone made it. Not everyone CAN be sober. rblurr.

So, I really like this image--but I can't look at it for long! You are to be commended for a uniquely dynamic conceptualization here--what a unique vision and sense you must have, to be in this location and envision this image! Well done.

Interesting shot but, makes me want to run for my glasses before I can see what is really there! LOL I think this would have been fabulous had the background been a cemetary or battlefield as opposed to a field with little else but a fencing. I'm not quite sure what to make of this one yet. May have to come back to it again and ammend my comment. :)

I like the mood this photo has but the blur is starting to hurt my eyes :( If there was something no blurred that my eyes could fix on and return to when they start to hurt, that may have helped

I never thought I'd say this, but it's too blurry (and I love blur). There's a jarring sense of frenetic bouncing up an down that does not seem appropriate to what is surely supposed to be an ethereal, other-worldly sort of feel. The figures should look like insubstantial spirits of some kind, but alas they look like Energizer Bunnies. Mind you, without that mad dance this would be terrific.

Originally posted by Kali:

The figures look very disconnected, as if their upper half has transcended beyond the menial tasks of the lower half. It took me a few moments to fully appreciate this image. My initial reaction was one of instant rejection for the need of an anchor but it has challenged my critical thinking to leave it's comfort zone, so I thank you.

I remember seeing this before, and I think I commented on it before. I love the disjointedness of the image, and the disjointed feeling it creates.

lol...oh dear, I can't believe they still do this dance! : )
But then again, what wedding would be complete without the Macerana, and of course, the chicken dance hahaha!
Love how you've captured all the different angles and love all that blur and grain too! Fantastic! : )

Lovin' the vastnessness here and the way the haze smooths out the horizon. Great dip! : )
