I really like this shot, both for its look and for its being different from the others. The selective color appeals to me, too. I just wish the shadow on his chest weren't there. Still, a 9.

Wow - nice timing to get the great color background. This shot really conveys the contrast between calm and motion. Even the blue to the sides of the brighter-colored bits of train draw your eye inward to the main subject/background. A 10!

For a "found" shot as opposed to a staged one, this does a great job of conveying speed near a still person. And the color contrast is very nice. Just wish his right hand had been sharper. Still a 9. :)

Mediocre Break

Mediocre break, but beautiful shot conveying sharp static images and blurred moving ones. The rail in the lower right is distracting, but the diagonal angle is less so. The rail in the upper right, on the other hand, is just distracting. Maybe you could've pulled the cue ball closer so you could've cropped it out? Those are nitpicks, though; I'm voting 9. :)

Unfortunately, I'm not sure this type of picture is going to work. It comes across as just a blurred bee, as opposed to the motion blur conveying something.
