Vertigo Cityby yankoComment: Fantastic! But then, you know I like tilted shots. I just assumed the concrete looked like that because it was a night shot, so the shutter was open long enough for it to flow. Ya know, just like water. ;) |

Gentleman fiddlerby MelethiaComment: WHY aren't you entering this one?!? Definitely a 6+ shot! I just might back off the brightness on his face a wee bit. |

Waiting for takeoutby MelethiaComment: This is absolutely a print-worthy shot. But you gotta clone out that guy. :)
What a classic situation, and the shot has wonderful lines and colors. |

Where's the Light?by JustinMComment: Hi there. Told ya I wanted to see your photo to get an idea of what you meant by "perspective lighting."
Okay, I still don't get what you meant. Perspective really does have a few specific meanings. Take a look at the highly-scoring ones to get an understanding of it.
That said, this is a cool photo. I like the light coming through the bulb. Keep shooting and keep entering challenges! :) |

Circular perspectiveby MelethiaComment: Another spec-frickin'-tacular shot, Deb! Congrats on the top 20 placement, too. We've both had a good couple of weeks with new high scores, eh? :)
I just love the off-center, asymmetrical view. |

A Hawk's Perspective on Electricityby noranekoComment: *laugh* This is VERY VERY VERY clever. It takes a rare mind to grasp that animals frying themselves actually benefits someone. I also appreciate the different meaning of perspective as a mental model of the world, as opposed to a literal physical viewpoint. I tried to incorporate that into my entry, too.
As a photo, the composition feels a little off. Not quite sure why. I think I expect the hawk to be facing into the frame instead of out of it. But I can imagine you didn't have much time to take this shot! Just something to think about when shooting in the future. |

Odd Pea Outby mistComment: Ha! I like the visual pun. :) I wonder if it would work even better to have the P sort of out of focus and some actual pea sharply in focus, as sort of trick on the viewer. |
