*laugh* This is VERY VERY VERY clever. It takes a rare mind to grasp that animals frying themselves actually benefits someone. I also appreciate the different meaning of perspective as a mental model of the world, as opposed to a literal physical viewpoint. I tried to incorporate that into my entry, too.
As a photo, the composition feels a little off. Not quite sure why. I think I expect the hawk to be facing into the frame instead of out of it. But I can imagine you didn't have much time to take this shot! Just something to think about when shooting in the future. |

Yuck! That's for the bird guts part, not the picture. I actually do like the picture. I take the perspective part as not your perspective looking up at the bird, but the bird looking down at you. Kinda like "Hey, I'm eating here. Do you mind?" Really good clarity for a big crop. I like the stray feathers over on the one side. Poor other bird... |

Subtle, but everything depends on perspective in this shot. Such great off-balance energy to it. 8 |
