Underhairby posthumousComment: Neat shot. I like the flower sun a lot. I agree about needing to blur the bottom of the island a bit, but mostly I just think how intriguing it would be to see this as you're walking along! |

Mind's Carouselby posthumousComment: Don, just when I count on you to produce purely art shots, you go and enter something *I* might take. :) I think this is great, and it's nice to see your face! |

Dead Treeby colorcarnivalComment: Heh. Add a sign in the empty space, hanging from the upper branches, that reads "Welcome to Hell. The registration desk is to the left. Have a nice day!" |

Eby colorcarnivalComment: I'm floored at the score. I voted this an 8. The clarity of his eyes, the spot-on focus, and his expression are all wonderful. Yes, if I lean waaaayyyy in, I can see of the artifacts. But I don't vote with my nose 1/2" from the screen. :)
As for those artifacts, try copying the original into a new layer, sharpening that layer, and then creating a layer mask and painting black in the layer mask of the sharpened layer, to remove it and let the original show through. That essentially lets you do spot sharpening that's reversible. |

"Mommy?"...........by Jaded_HousewifeComment: Here's my thinking as I looked at it: "okay, it's an interesting shot, nice placement of the objects, what is that thing to the right WHOAH"
I'm guessing that was your intent, so you were 100% successful with me. :) And given the amazing score from your commenters, I bet they got it, too. |

Ripple Effectby colorcarnivalComment: I'm with your family! When I saw the thumb in your profile I thought "wow, that's creepy." Not so scary at full size, though just as interesting. |

But is it Art?by quiet_observationComment: Interesting shot and an even more intriguing title. The title makes me go back and think about my initial impressions. Well done! |

Shedinjaby skewsmeComment: Man, what were people looking for? It's a solid composition, nice tones, and an interesting bug. That's a shell, isn't it? |
