All I have to give is loveby MuppetComment: I'm not crazy about the execution, but I do like the concept. I think I'd prefer it with higher contrast and the red toned down to just subtly colored instead of garish. But hey, it's your shot - do what you like! |

Chameleonby WildcardComment: I don't mind the grain, and I like the composition. I just wish you stood out a little more from the background. Ah-HAH! Enlightement lands on me like a ton of bricks. Your title reflects how you blend in. *smacks forehead* Now, is that a broad statement of how you feel in your corner of the world? Like you adjust yourself to your surroundings? I suggest taking this even further - obliterate the boundaries and leave only the slightest difference in shade, with your hair, eyes, nostrils, and lips the only things seriously darker than the wall. Play around and share with Team Suck. :) |

It's a Wrap...by NikonJebComment: Jeb, I'm back with a more serious comment. Both as a self-portrait and also as a general portrait, this photo actually has a lot to say. Whether you meant it or not, it tells a story about anonymity, about not feeling comfortable in one's own skin, about being invisible to the throngs around you. |

Sanctuaryby xianartComment: I liked this shot, but kind of missed the self-portrait connection (my problem, not yours). Aside from being a self-portrait, though, it's a very interesting image. What I so appreciate about you, Christian, is your pursuit of your own artistic style. |

A Child Stopped Believing Today...by WildcardComment: This is one of those artistic shots that rarely does well on DPC but is worth exploring again looooong after the challenge. My only wish is for her face to be sharper, or at least her eyes. |

The Dark Figure at the Gateby skewsmeComment: Something funny happened - I didn't see Don's face until I'd been looking for quite some time. Now that I do, it adds a nice touch of creepiness. I'm not sure what you did in shooting or editing, but he seems disconnected from the background, like he's standing in front of a backdrop. |

Childe Rowland at the Dark Towerby KelliComment: I think you got some interesting comments, Kelli. :) Looks like my suggestion to try to rescue some detail in the shirt just netted you one complaint about it being flat gray. Sorry! |
