Great image, I had this one pegged to win, I gave it a 9 and would have given it a 10 if the third chick would have been facing a little more towards the camera. I love having mom's eyes covered it added a little suspense to the shot.

Love the shadow on the adult and the light is fantastic, my only nit pick is the crop, cutting the legs off at the knee to me is a little awkward. Overall a really nice image.

I like the idea and the image of the bird peeking around the tree but the bright branch in the background is such a distraction to me that it takes away from the image.

I agree with the comments about the grass but I kind of like the effect on the trees.

I really like this one, the only thing I may have liked a little better would be to crop the stones on the left side out but either way I love the simplicity and feel of the shot. Well done!
