Classiqueby Eagle40Fox2Comment: This really should have scored better than it did. It has that aged historic feel to it, but clearly the studs and tie bring it to modern day. I like images that take you back, but have that edge to them. The lighting is nice, and the crop is unusual. Not unusual in a bad way, but unusual in a perfect example of when to break the rules. |

Emergence by Bear_MusicComment: It looks so cold, yet that beam of sun skimming across the grasses feels so warm. |

Birth04by RobotBanjoComment: The f/1.4 worked out beautifully for this image. In addition your processing of all these photos is fantastic. I think the black and white softness takes some of the "gross" factor out of the scene for people not directly involved. The love and gentleness in the room comes through in the photos you've taken, and this exemplifies that. What an amazing experience for you (and the family obviously), and what an amazing job you did! |

The Loveby JulietNNComment: The upper portion of the wave took me awhile to figure out for some reason. My eyes kept telling me it was the sky, and I couldn't figure out how that was legal. I see it now, but wow, that's still screwing with my head! |

Curbside Diningby sfaliceComment: Did he actually eat it? I've got a theory that squirrels are stealing my strawberries every year! |

...with potatoes, onions and Charlie:)by malinaComment: There's a great softness about this photo, and the lighting is simply lovely. It's interesting to see a scene so commonplace photographed with such technical quality.
Oh, and Charlie's expression cracks me up. Yum, onion fingers! |
