Living In The Bayouby dbordelonComment: This "treehouse" was on Treehouse Masters awhile ago. Such a tired ol' structure. I can't find a photo of the building on the show, but I found the sign!

IMG_1746by Jackson_HComment: I was looking at your entry last night and thinking, "This score is a little low for this...". Now I see your outtake and I'm curious why you chose the other over this.
Your composition here works really, really well. And the colors are eye-catching. I guess the other photo had more of a classic feel to it, but I would be curious to see what the voters would have thought of this one.
I did notice in both photos a cyan cast. You can see it in this photo in the highlight on the track and directly above it on the under side of the train car. I suppose in the other photo it could just be the color of what I'm seeing. I'm noticing it on the numbering (5260) at the top and again on the flag. Both of which very well could just be slightly cyan. |

Train2by jgirl57Comment: I enjoyed reading your notes on the photo. I love it when the photographer takes time to jot a few notes down for us to give a little insight into the wheres, hows, and whys. I also agree with the previous commenter about the composition. It's different, and I like it. |

Let It Snow!by Tommy_MacComment: This image seems low in the challenge results. Honestly, I'm a little dumbfounded.
The overall quality of the image is significantly better than at a number above you. The composition is solid. The beautiful young lady has a great smile and a crisp, bright coat that jumps off the screen. She seems genuinely pleased that it's snowing. You captured some of those big ol' snowflakes too. |
