Lushby krnodilComment: Just the soft fabric isn't do it for me. This seems to be lacking a subject. I know the fabric is the subject, but it just doesn't feel like it. |

blueberry milk shake by IreneMComment: I knew I was going to see one of these shots for this challenge, heh. I think you left your "milk shake" out too long.
I've never tried a shot like this, but I'd imagine the focus is tough to nail. Unfortunately I don't think you nailed it. The front bits are in focus, so it looks like a DOF issue. Which would mean you'd want a bigger aperture.. which means more light.. let there be more light! |

Smooth n Sweetby blade122Comment: There's simply not enough light on that honey. I like your background a lot though. |

Smooth as Silkby JammurComment: I'm fighting the square crop on this. I really want to see the top of the bottle. Missing the bottom isn't bothering me as much. I think the background glass should be a touch more in focus. You're almost completely losing it in the backdrop. I understand that you want it out of focus, but I think you went a little too far with it.
I think the background glass draws attention to the backdrop actually, and I'm not sold on your backdrop. Bringing that glass more in focus would help define it from your cloth. |

Silky Gazeby djofiComment: This looks a touch over processed mainly in the hair. I also think a tighter crop would look better and bring her beautiful face closer (also eliminating some of the background stuff). She has a very pleasant facial expression. I can understand why you chose that title. |

Silverby brandontaeloraviramComment: I'll be perfectly honest here. She's a beautiful girl, but my first thought was "shoplifter." I can't even really explain why I thought that. I guess it sort of looks like a security camera photo.
Pretty young teen + security camera = shoplifter
The tones are very pleasant. I think if the background was less in focus and whatever is in the foreground wasn't there, this could be a nice photo. Even without the foreground object this could be a lot better. |

Autumn Morning Reflectionsby hotpastaComment: I would actually like this more without the bird. The water and plants have a great texture to them and great colors. The focus wasn't dead on with the bird and I think that's what is hurting the photo as a whole. |

Smooth dropletby katOsuComment: That water droplet is so perfect I'm inclined to say it's fake. If it's fake then the photo isn't all that great, because it's the water drop that's making the photo. If it's real there's a wow factor. I'm torn. I know I should assume it's real and vote accordingly. Hmmmmmmmmm... |
