Financial Chameleonsby meyersComment: My first thought was that building needs a good scrubbing.
The crop looks a bit ackward. Does the rule about not cutting people's arms off in photos work towards buildings? I wonder if the windows of the foreground building weren't cropped half way if it would feel less ackward. The norm for tall buildings like this is vertical, but I don't think that is always necessary. It's just what is expected. The height is what probably would have gotten the "wow."
Overall, not a bad photo and good colors. Just some minor compositional issues and your focus was off a tad. |

Imagineby OmniComment: Hm. What is this 9 doing way down here? Creative. Well executed. Great lighting. Funny. Did I mention creative? Some mentioned they wanted the boy's face to be showing. That would make the photo about the boy and not the toys in my opinion.
I'm not sure what went wrong here. This place is so confusing, heh. |

Flittering Momentby ltlmschrisssComment: This was way under appreciated. It goes right along with the recent threads about how your subject doesn't have to be in focus. Had everything been in focus, it would be just another flower with a butterfly on it shot.
This is a very gentle photo. Soft and calm.

Evening Glowby Bear_MusicComment: I think this is my favorite photo I've seen from you, Bear. I love it. It takes a second for it to really sink in, but once it does it's very warm and comforting. The colors are perfect. I gave you a 9 during the challenge, and I'm giving you a favorite right now.
Thanks for the inspiration. |

Shuffling Into Oblivionby timfythetooComment: Bah! I was wondering where the last of my four 10's ended up.
lol I just reread my previous post during the challenge. I meant to say "masses" not "asses," but I think I'll leave it, heh. |

The Promise...by zaflaboutComment: Love the right half; could live without the left half. There's great detail and tones on the right side, but the left side seems to drift off into that feared snapshot eh-ness.
Perhaps a vertical crop. I do love the right side. |

The Colossusby LanndonKaneComment: The way the clouds are formed above the building it looks like a planet hovering there. Great composition. |

Shuffling Into Oblivionby timfythetooComment: This is actually really cool. I'm not sure how well it's going to go over with the asses, but it's very interesting. I'm not sold on the border, but overall this is fantastic. Welcome to my favorites.
