My first thought was that building needs a good scrubbing.

The crop looks a bit ackward. Does the rule about not cutting people's arms off in photos work towards buildings? I wonder if the windows of the foreground building weren't cropped half way if it would feel less ackward. The norm for tall buildings like this is vertical, but I don't think that is always necessary. It's just what is expected. The height is what probably would have gotten the "wow."

Overall, not a bad photo and good colors. Just some minor compositional issues and your focus was off a tad.
