It's actually not overexposed in the original. It was my processing that accentuated the whites... on purpose.

Throughout my life I've "popped so many babies' heads off", but couldn't have told you that your photo was of a dandelion. I have really got to stop and pay attention!

I'm not sure what kind of flower it is. I only briefly saw it in bloom a few weeks ago. It was a big-ish flower with long thin red petals. Its center now almost looks like a sunflower with no seeds (spiky and hollow). I took a shot of it. Maybe I can get one of those shots processed in the coming days.
