all we need is..by herfotomanComment: Your message isn't coming through for me. I don't understand what's happening to make this a "before and after". |

Oh my!.................Oh yeah!by snafflesComment: The first photo is effective. Conceptually, the second photo is also effective, but the execution doesn't work for me.
Lighting in the second photo seems really bright and harsh. It looks like areas of your neck were blown out and have no detail (right under your chin is getting pixelated especially), and there's dark spots on your chin and nose where you seem to be masking (get it? haha) glaring highlights. |

MoviPrepby ShutterRevComment: Overall, pretty good, though I do have some critiques:
You probably should have moved to the bathroom for the second shot.
Also, if you want the image to stand alone, is there anything on that pouch that describes what this product is? I had a hunch what I was looking at, but wasn't sure until I looked it up. Currently, I can't really read anything on the pouch other than "MoviPrep" and "Salix". |

Night & Dayby Len ScapComment: Both quality photos in their own right.
I get that the left photo is the meant to be your dark side or whatever, but I would have liked to see more detail in the coat. You're going for dark side, not evil-jump-out-of-the-shadows-murderer, right? Also, I would have flipped these and gone "Day & Night", because it matches the challenge description better (...and I'm anal like that). |

R E D by ScooterMcNuttyComment: You know, I always liked the lighting on this, but I just noticed the kiss of light on your jawbone; that's awesome! |

I Won't Grow Up! by lei_73Comment: Quite soft in terms of focus, but really cute idea and mostly well executed. |

Bowing Downby illini75Comment: I'm glad this showed up on the front page, because it reminded me to have another look at it. I was on vacation and viewed it on my brother-in-law's monitor where I could clearly see the tabletop that the flower is resting on. Now that I'm home, and on my own calibrated monitor, the tabletop is solid black like it should be, and it looks wonderful!
How are monitors still being shipped uncalibrated? Rawr! |

tomatoesby MadMan2kComment: I really like this. I did a few shots of my garden tomatoes to show family, and I wish I would have been this creative. |
