This new wave of users needs to hurry up and learn their basics so they can start appreciating the art of breaking the rules.

This is one of my absolute favorite photos on the site, but I've never marked it as a favorite. I never had to, because it's ingrained in my memory. I'll go ahead and add it now as some form of silent protest.

I have to agree that I suspected this wouldn't do great here, but 5.1 is a terrible score for this shot. It's getting dangerously closed minded here at DPC, and it's incredibly frustrating. I can't believe that there's comments about the subject being out of focus... sigh.

What a great background! Great colors and bokeh.

Your main subject doesn't offer up much of a punch though. There's a slight focus issue. I don't know if a different composition would have given this more power, or if there needs to be something else in the photo.

I'm going to go ahead and be the picky one here...

There's an odd white box above the last red car of the train. It looks like something that was accidentally done in post processing. Also, wouldn't the blur of a train really moving be slightly angled? The blur towards the back of the train doesn't seem right. The front looks awesome though.

Kudos to you for thinking creatively.
