11-sept 09 macro. grasshopper and dropletsby rozComment: Oooo, perty bokeh.
I have to say though, put yourself in his little hoppy feet. Can you imagine having a water drop half the size of your face hanging from your mouth? That's nuts! |

villainby skewsmeComment: I wasn't liking the big white squares, but after reading roz's comment about it looking like a building I've changed my mind. It does look like a big bug monster on a building, heh. |

Birdseedby patio127Comment: Lovely shot. I don't like the inner border though. My eyes start in the center and want to flow out on the gentle petals and leaves, but they run abruptly into the border. |

surprise visitorby JutildaComment: The focus seems a tad off, but the composition and processing are so strong I don't much care. Great capture! |

run!by Ecce_SignumComment: Very nice. I remember looking at this photo during voting, but clearly didn't leave a comment. "Lensbaby" wasn't a word that even crossed my mind, though now that you've said it I can see the effect.
What I was actually thinking about was worry for the kids. I'm sure it's one of those shots that looks worse than it really was, but every summer you hear about people getting hit by sneaker waves and being pulled out to sea. Ooo, I shake my virtual fist at those parents...

Macro #5by bspurgeonComment: Jac needs to stop reading my mind! Exactly what I thought, "grain on grain". How very clever, heh. |
