novemberby speaseComment: I like the silkyness of the water and the fluidity of it as well. Composition looks ok and the big tree adds interest. You seem to have a little vignetting in the top left hand corner, and the image seems a little smaller than the 640 pixels you can use. |

November Dreamsby jbsmithanaComment: I'm guessing the hazy feel to the image is due to a soft focus effect. The color has a strong blue cast but that goes with the chilly feel of November. The tree makes a good frame but unfortunately it's only framing an expanse of water. The seagull adds a much needed third element and is positioned good on the branch, although I'm not too sure about the composition of the entire image. Perhaps cropping out the lower part of the tree would put more emphasis on the bird and not so much on the water. |

September Hurricanesby KonadorComment: I like the toning, it adds a timeless quality to the image and could easily have been taken any time in the last century. The foreground tree makes an excellent leading line and frame for the rest of the elements, and clearly shows a sense of wind as indicated by the title. The path also leads the eye nicely through the image. Even the small structure in the far background adds an interesting element. A very engaging image. |

St. Joseph Pier & Lighthouseby Spork99Comment: I like the simple colors in the shot - blue, white, and red. It compliments the simple setup wonderfully. It seems to be more about the lines and shapes and the dash of colors. it is this simplicity that gives it a calming, serene feeling. Can I say simple any more times? :P I like it! |

O.G.by undieyatchComment: Excellent portrait. Wonderful depth of field to give it a 3d feel. Great texture an detail in the face. Subject is full of character and that comes across clearly. Not so sure about the yellow flecks that seem to be in the image, mainly around his hat brim. Some catchlights in the eyes would have been nice too. |

Flying High!by smellyfish1002Comment: Aha! I remember this from the action thread. You've certainly captured the feeling of flight and did an excellent job at stopping the action while still implying plenty of it. The guy contrasts well with the stormy background to give an almost 3d feeling to the image. The white shirt seems to have a yellow cast to it and it's bordering on being blown out in places too. It certainly works as an action shot. |

Fall at the Lakeby KathycComment: A nicely layered image with foreground, middleground, and background elements. The colors are nice and vivid and yet it does have a slightly dark feel. The water is fairly still with a good reflection to give a tranquil feel. A very peaceful image, I like it. |

Michelleby lagavulinComment: The pose, lighting, and skin tones look good. The eyes look maybe a tad soft. I like that you've included some environment to set a mood although I find my head tilting ever so slightly to the right to straighten up the staircase. |

Fall's Starsby PatochComment: Good placement with interesting bokeh. I'm going to guess the lightness of the image was deliberate but my personal opinion is it seems a little too light and would have preferred some more contrast. |
