Apparitionby colorcarnivalComment: Hmmm, starburst filter during a blizzard, you say? Hmm still obviously a chair visible. You got just as many 10s as 1s for this shot! There is hope after all for this site, good work! |

where does the time goby skewsmeComment: Hmmm methinks you and Don were kinda maybe in the same place about 1 minute apart? I love the motion blur! And what is with the profusion of rocking chairs? Especially like the one on the left with the staggered effect on the back of the chair. |

In the Attic....by NikonJebComment: I just love these old chairs in attics and barn lofts and the like, don't you? ;-) Holy hand grenade, Jeb, I never would have guessed you used here! Absolutely perfect pp on this shot, it looks to be sftc. Great work, keep up with the light hand on the Topaz. |

Rocking Chairby posthumousComment: Oh crap, I just chose this pic as a fave and lost the comment I just left you! Looks like a Group of 7 painting. I love this. OK, so no chairs are visible...big deal. Chairs are normally made from wood. And during voting I *got it* and realized you were in a rocking chair when you shot this. Great work, Oh Noble Leader! |

that afternoonby krnodilComment: I find this shot interesting and engaging, in its own special way. And yes, I do think it looks like chairs ready for a parent/teacher conference, as seen through a teary-eyed child's eyes... *sniff, sniff* Good job! :-) |

Maternityby GeneralEComment: I like the humour in this shot, and funny to see how many people are allergic to shadows! I think you had fun playing around here, and did this tongue-in-cheek, and not many see or appreciate that. Lighting does look a little blown out, but I think it works fine :-) |

the back roomby vawendyComment: I like this shot because it is so deceptively simple, yet tells a story all its own. The back room....usually, not very nice things happen in back rooms, and I sense some ominousness (is that a word? Well it is now!;-) in the shadows. And as for *breaking* the rule of thirds? Well that's why you're a Sucker and a damn fine one! Good work! Message edited by author 2010-02-15 16:52:09. |
