I find this shot interesting and engaging, in its own special way. And yes, I do think it looks like chairs ready for a parent/teacher conference, as seen through a teary-eyed child's eyes... *sniff, sniff* Good job! :-)

Good grief, I didn't realize THIS got the brown... Hell, I gave it an honest 8. I think it's as allegorical as all get-out, it's definitely an interesting and intellectually engaging image as far as I'm concerned. And it actually has a chair IN it, which is more than you can say for Don's near-brown experience :-)

I think the OOF attempt was gutsy and worth a try. I think that the very bright window however is a distraction that might have hurt the image. I actually think that everything to the left of the window has a lot of interest and does work as an abstract in my opinion

Sharp focus is overrated. Good for you.

I guess there is a reason you made this OOF but I'm afraid I don't get it. I like the soft colors though.

I understand that you wanted a blurry shot and maybe this is done perfectly as I have not attempted anything like this. But (IMHO) I think just a tad less blur would do this shot better.

I suspect this is the way a child sees the room when they know their parents are coming for a (bad) parent/teacher conference

oh no, not another meaningful purposely OOF pseudo-artistic image
