Boo!

[Feb. 14th, 2010 06:08:52 PM]

This is what you get when you have a starburst filter on your lens, and you are taking a picture, using manual focus, during a blizzard :)

Well, I didn't go through all the abstract shots in the challenge, but I really like this for it. Reminds me of something you'd see in an attic, although not necessarily find, if that makes sense. Very dreamy and fun use of your tools :)

Didn't vote in this challenge but, I can see that the number of 10's, 9's, 8's 7's and 6's are pretty high for what normally doesn't do well in DPC. A year ago, I would have labelled this one automatically a "Brown" through the eyes of DPC voters LOL. Susan has said that there's "hope" for DPC. I'm hoping that's becoming true and that there's more artsy eyes viewing photos now. Personally, I'd like to have seen less of the lens droplets but, what can ya do in the middle of a snowstorm? LOL Seems that you have lots of "friends" in liking this one so, yahoo for you! :) Congrats on the blue Posthumous Ribbon. :) Gutsy entry! :)

Hmmm, starburst filter during a blizzard, you say? Hmm still obviously a chair visible. You got just as many 10s as 1s for this shot! There is hope after all for this site, good work!

Gave this a 9. Well done, love the bright light. I always seem to forget that ghosts need to take a load off every now and then!

I feel almost too compelled to give this a ribbon, like I'm supposed to because it's blurry, but it's an interesting photo, doesn't give everything away like so many photos do, and I have a fondness for folding chairs. So, Posthumous Blue Ribbon for you.

too much blur on this photo, but apart from that it still looks effective.
