Some boys playing with sticks in the woods. By their expressions I'd guess they're meant to be hunters. I'd expect to see them a lot more scruffed up, like with scratches and bruises on their arms etc (hey, it's October - you can get fake blood and scar tissue anywhere) than they are to add some authenticity to the scene.
