definitely lowkey, but unfortunately I can't tell what it is without intense study. Maybe I've had a bit too much to drink, but I don't think so. My monitor is calibrated, so not that. It's just a bit too dark.

I think it's a damn good portrait. I like the crop and lighting is excellent. Focus and DoF are right where they need to be.

My one complaint is that I'm not totally fond of that big square catch light. Yes, I know it's normal, but to me it doesn't work for this portrait. The eye is the focus of the image, causing that catch light to appear unnatural.

I am so envious of people that can do these shots. It's the one thing tht my eyesight keeps me from doing. This is a wonderful shot. Loe the light, love the color, focus is dead on, dof just right... just overall a very nicely done shot. I applaud you.

the entry is unique. I probably would have given it a good score (if I voted) if it had been a tad more in focus. The pen is a bit soft. I do appreciate the humor in the shot though :-)

First impression:
Wow, what a lovely baby portrait. And this was impromptu? You have outdone yourself and a lot of other pros :-)

Technicals:
Lighting is very nice. No hot spots, nice and soft. Focus is dead sharp, a hard accomplishment for this type of shot.

Cop is a bit lacking, but all else considered I wouldn't throw ya out for this.

Overall, it's an awesome baby portrait that you should be very proud of.
