I love the starkness of this photo. Nothing unnecessary. And, what a great exposure. Perfect detail in the cabin - even in the shadows beneath. I really don't know what you can do to improve this. I'm going to go see what you did in pp. Wow. OK, I stand corrected - there was plenty. Nice rich tones and even more detail. Masterful. And, the border is a nice touch, too.

This is quite dark, so hard to comment on, but you have a lot to work with in editing. Beautiful sky and trees, so it'll just depend on what's in the rest. Looking forward to the finished piece.

Nice use of diagonal lines to create depth in your picture. My only suggestion is to not have cut off the top of the switch handle. Otherwise, nicely composed and exposed.

Nice close up. Great use of dof/bokeh. I really have the sense he's looking right into the camera at me. Did you try portrait orientation also? I think seeing more of his face would add a lot.

Well, that's explains the nature of the Great Blue Herron. It'll stand still for 1 second exposures! Just amazing. The focus is a little soft, but that's to be expected. Very nice shot. And, where's this camping trip to that you'll be seeing bears and such? Can I come?

This is a wonderful shot. Are you using a polerizer filter here?. Love the dark sky and the late afternoon light. And the tree, while adding interest, doesn't detract from the subject.

Day 2 - In colour

Beautuful shot. My only suggestion is that blurring the lower hand seems unnatural and therefore draws my attention unneccessarily. Love the lighting on the face and the blur on the rest of the shot.
