feeling warmby jemascianaComment: Nice angle, point of view and sharpness. However, I just don't get a whole lot of "warmness" from this photograph despite the fact that she is wearing yellow. 6. |

California Warmthby YoungerComment: This is a nice shot. I'm wondering if a bit more light would've given a touch more definition to the flowers that you are focused on. However, the blending of the oranges does well for the warm challenge. I guess I just gave you two conflicting opinions! Oh well! |

Queen of Loveby martinkulikComment: I'm not sure if you rotated this or not, and if it really helped your composition. To me its a bit funky. I think the shot of the flower itself is good and the droplets are crystal clear, though. |

Burstby ZeppKashComment: Interesting radial symmetry created by your point of view. I tried adding water droplets to my shot in this challenge as well, and I'm wondering if they help your photo, or hurt it (mine as well). I think maybe a bit too many drops--especially in the center. Maybe fewer and just on the petals. |

Warm... yet Chilliby meneleComment: I like the streak of red in your background or where the pepper is resting. I think you may get burned in voting a bit by the highlight on the pepper--its a bit harsh. But the stem is great and so is the orange color. |

got a light?by woodstock01Comment: I think you did a good job achieving sharpness and detail on the lighter while still getting the background exposed well. I like the rotation of this as well. |

Color Harmonyby ErikVComment: This fits the theme as well as any other in this challenge. The candles are well arranged (although if I were nitpicking a few are unevenly spaced. I like that the wicks are also part of the pattern. |

tri-ad (n) : a group of three, esp. of three closely related persons or things.by jrmyrnsmComment: I'd love to see your setup for how you blurred the background. I tried something similar w/ colored bencils, and I wasn't either as well focused as you, or you have a macro lens. I'd be happy if you didn't, because that means I can do something similar!
If you were to print this, I'd clone out that tiny yellow spot under the orange pencil.
Good job on the theme and composition, although I just noticed you'll probably get DQ'd because of your border. A shame! |

Fireby LN13Comment: Nice soft flower shot. Definitely has mass appeal for commercial use--I could see this as decor in a nice trendy loft. |

Walkin'by blotzphotoComment: I think normally this may be an average shot, but I really liked it in this challenge of finding a warm themed environment and then catching a kid w/ a red shirt, so I think it has better appeal. 7. |
