Daylight through a window to the side, and a flash on the camera bounce off the ceiling. Shot with Sigma 70-300, at 238mm in macro mode.
I've been getting crappy scores lately. Or should I say I've been taking crappy pictures lately? I hope this one pulls me out of the rut. I feel good about it.
What might hurt me? A little noisy in spots, maybe too much noise ninja, the flower's kind of soft

| Nice soft flower shot. Definitely has mass appeal for commercial use--I could see this as decor in a nice trendy loft. |

| i find my eyes drawn to where stem meets the petal, not the tip where the fiery action is. perhaps it could have been framed with the tips a bit farther from the border. |
