windlessby yianisnComment: Beautifull captured image. Nice frontal view perspective. Captured at the right moment and, unlike so many people, you got the horizon level. :)
Slightly off from the left vertical rule of thirds line. Your main subject (windsurfer on board) should be centered slightly further to the right. Slightly oversharpened on the sail. A few of the sail bracings have the "jaggies". |

Another Sunsetby red_geckoComment: Like the cloud bank below the sun and the sihlouette of the foreground hill on the right makes for a very nice landscape. Horizon looks level.
I see that you have the top of the cloud bank positined on the lower horizontal rule of thirds line. You might consider a different crop to meet this challenge. Consider a crop centering the sun exactly at the upper right rule of thirds intersection point. This not only better meets the specific challenge description but expands the screen real estate devoted to the most interesting areas of the image, the right side foregound and clouds. It cuts out less interesting sky and darker detail on the left and top of the image. Try it and you will probably like the result. |

On the Sidelinesby madcrabberComment: Bright sunlight illuminating the sidelined football player is a good visual highlight selection. Makes the viewer wonder what the football player is thinking and feeling as he watches the game. Good capture of action for the background. Good lighting, no overexposed areas and good sharpness.
Centering the helmet on the lower left rule of thirds intersection point works for the challenge topic but not necessarily for the image itself. For this image, since the football player is the main subject, it might be better to center the whole player on the left vertical rule of thirds line rather than just the helmet at the intersection point. The far sideline acts a horizon. You might consider leveling that to true horizontal. |

Oh... wait... You did know that your mom and I left you with foster parents when you were little, didn't you? Sorry about that if you didn't already know.
Great picture, even though you cheated and stole the idea for it from yourself. LOL!!! |
