 Found this interesting stairway at a new GA school. Had only a few moments to get this on camera, since I was in the middle of another assignment. Used ISO 1600 for maximum shutter speed and f/2.8 to narrow focus and add a feeling of depth. Awkward to use tripod on stairs, so had to hand hold. My copy will reduced the highlights on the railing, but I must abide by the rules for the entry.

Nice framing but the soft focus of the railing hurts this image.

The materials and textures here are nice. The lines give an abstract sort of feel for me, but I don't see a subject that is in the 1/3rd position to meet this challenge criteria. I like the curve of the banister but its showing noise in the darker regions.
