That's a wonderful texture you captured here! You've really pulled out the old age of that leaf. The lightening is perfect and the crop also. The spine of the leaf almost looks as if it is hairy! You can be proud of this one I can find no faults.

clown & a dead soldier

Great idea here! Two things I'd like to mention though. The bottle is fully in focus but the clown just a tad out, I would have set the aperture at a higher number. The lighting or the flash is glaring a little too much on the clown's leg, shoulder and face. However the composition is excellent. Good crop.

You are right they look like piano keys. The angle is wonderful, great composition here. The shadows really make for the black keys on a piano, I like this very much.

I bumped you from a 6 to a 9 on this after looking at it again. Actually you gotta thank my wife for that cos we both looked at it again and realised you made so much out of simplicity here! The crop is good, maybe a little toooo centered but still excellent. The black and white was a good choice here.

After looking at this one long and hard for a third time I bumped you up from a 6 to an 8! The crop is great, and the way you have those reflections in the glass look really refracted. You got that glass looking so glassy at the top. It looks so blurry in the reflection at the top, it mixes in so well. Good job on this one!

The flash is very noticeable in the top right hand clock and the beam on the right I would have cropped out. But otherwise a good idea.
