I like this photo a lot and I can't put my finger on the reason why. The background is loud and the crop cuts out most of the main flower subject. It goes against the rules. I think I like it because you have made your flowers stand out, despite the loud background. I also like it because of the feeling it gives me of spring starting to take over from winter, the dead leaves representing winter and the fresh crisp flowers Spring - 8.
