Faunaby MiekaComment: The blue tone comes through well here. Grouping the gulls together and asking them to all walk in the same direction was a good idea. I especially like the placement of the gulls in your pic and the rocks in the foreground give it that extra touch. The blue frame might be overdoing it just a tad though, it clashed with the other blues in the image. |

Cowby peterdehaanComment: Now that's a nice looking speciman of fauna! Looks a bit dangerous to me and he's looking at you in a not so nice way :-) It's a pity the lighting wasn't optimal for you or else this would have been amazingly good. I mean it is good now, but the dark part at the front isn't so enhancing. |

Lonelyby MusicmanComment: Is it asleep? Nice pic, good shallow DOF and the crop is also top. I would have run an an auto levels or adjusted the saturation on it to bring out the colors more. |

Butterfly a l'Orangeby wdebeau1Comment: Ahh, it's the old "put-some-old-oranges-and-fruit-on-a-plate-to-attract-some-butterflies-to-get-their-photo" trick again! Good one! It worked :-) The only distracting part about this image is that the background is a little load. The plate is already full of all kinds of colors and action. It would have been better to have a neutral background or to have used quite a wide open aperture to blur it out. |

Hey little fellow! What's your hurry?by Harz_JoergComment: This is a very good photo, the greens are fully saturated and together with the snail and all that transparent stuff (yuk!) make for an excellent image. The DOF is very good and so is the composition, choice! But the border! The green in your border clashes with the rest of the image. |

All You Can Eatby MitonskiComment: I find the saturation levels could be tweaked a little more, or maybe just an auto levels in photoshop for example, I am sure you could make that green a lot richer that way. The composition is very good fully following the rule of thirds. |

Not the usual dinner guestsby snsComment: Very original and well done. Come on, you trained those ladybirds didn't you! The composition is good, nice tight crop. There is some grain in the background but it isn't distractive in anyway. The lighting is also good. |

Friendlyby PointComment: Now this is certainly a different view of fauna :-) It's a good idea, and well done as well. A very tight crop but it works here. Not much to criticize about, maybe just the flash on the gums is a little harsh (hot spot), but otherwise good (and funny!) |

Mother And Childby bruster54Comment: Cute family pic :-) The colors are brought out well by the sunlight here. It's a pity this side of the foal is in shadows but you couldn't have done too much more about it besides moving your position, but then you may not have been able to get such a good image. |

Seagullby pedroviegasComment: The seagull is the main focal point although not 100% sharp, however you have managed to blur out the background enough with the DOF to highlight the gull more. The shadow on its face hiding its eye is a little bit of bad luck which you couldn't really have done too much about. Overall a good pic in a nice composition. |
