Good idea! I like how you have contrasted the layering effect of sky, clouds and land with the vertical column of steam. The sky is a deep crispy blue, and the further up you look the bluer it gets, well done. The text? Well that's a matter of personal opinion, for me it is a little too big and is distracting from the photo.

This is good, the blue tones work well here. This image would have placed high in the perspective challenge. As a postcard it is a good choice.

Land of 1000 Waterfalls

You do live in the right place don't you! We have no waterfalls anywhere near here. Your choice of scene for your postcard is excellent, no doubt about that. It is the kind of image I would see on postcards. The only problem with this is that you have blurred out the waterfall, which is your main subject according to the title. A very small aperture would have taken care of that.

That really is the kind of writing and text I would expect to find on a postcard, good idea! The perspective of your photo is very good although I would have tried to get up higher somehow, maybe stand on the car roof or something, to get more above that bush in the foreground.

That is a very impressive building and you've managed to get everything in your image in focus. The trees are stopping you from capturing a full view of the museum but there isn't too much you can do about that unless you got up on a crane or something. It is a very good postcard shot, and that blue sky works as an excellent background for the yellowy color of the building.

The Lonestar State

This photo has a very serene feeling to it. What a coincidence the flowers are the same color as the roof, it adds an effective touch to it. The darker area and the twig at the bottom of the image give me the impression you were shooting out of the woods, or laying on the ground so as not to scare the horse. Sniper tactics! Ummmm - 9.

Where is this city? It looks very modern. This is a wonderful capture, the lighting is amazing. Everything seems to be in exactly the right place, and yep, I would buy this postcard....

This is an amazing photo, the formation of the clouds with the blue sky in the background is very effective. The frame and the text is not exaggerated at all, very good.
