Party Pumkinby JackoComment: This is my second of only two tens I gave out for this challenge. For me it is an original idea, it is always good seeing something different in a challenge and this certainly is different. The color of the pumpkin and it's content are very crisp and strong and work in fantastically with the white background. If this pic doesn't get a ribbon I will eat that pumpkin of yours personally :-) |

A rare privilege by jjbeguinComment: This is one of the two tens I gave in the exposed challenge. The set-up and composition was the first thing that hit me when I clicked on the thumbnail. Secondly, the play of lights and shadow, which is very effective here. Thirdly the reflections of the bottles in the glass. All these points work in harmony together producing this wonderful pic. My hat off to you. This looks very much like the style of jjbeguin - 10 |

lost in the golden labyrinthby tp-fcpComment: Amazing how many people mentioned "The Shining" here! It really does look like a scene from that film, the corridor and colors are so identical. All that is missing is those two twin girls standing at the end of the corridor. |

Götterdämmerung [Twilight of the Gods]by zeuszenComment: Originally posted by zeuszen: > kiwiness: thanks for your consistent and generous comments, aber 'Verlauf' ist männlich, as opposed to 'Helligkeit', which is 'weiblich'. Ergo: 'der Helligkeitsverlauf'. (Will you ever forgive me for correcting your German grammar?) ;-) |
Silly me, 16 years in Germany and I still can't get it right :-) Good on you for picking it up, you don't miss a thing do you?
Congrats on a fantastic pic too. |
