This is a nice concept and nice location of your light. Your background takes away from the photo. There are too many wrinkles and different types of reflections off the sheet.

The photo here is too red, and too soft. More sharpness would have improved the photo. Maybe even further back to get a capture of the open eye.

This is a fabulous idea. I wish the girl were a little bit bigger and more in focus. Also the lower portion of this photo could hvae been cropped out. It's still a great capture.

Challenge related: You are using a natural light in a artificial light challenge.

Technical: The shot is nice. The focus is a little soft and a softer light would have worked very well with this photo. that could have been achieved just by darkening the photo a little. The portion of the window right about the cat is so bright that it sort of takes away from the cat.

Free as a Bird

Challenge related: The challenge called for an artificial light source, I believe the sun is a natural light source.

Technical: The photo is very good. I like how the bird is sharp and in focus compared to the water. There is alot of extra space on the left that could have been cropped out. Another option would to have put the bird in the top right corner, making it seem like it had more room to walk or placing it in the bottom left corner making it seem like the only place to go was into the water.

Challenge related: The reflection on the containers makes it seem like you have multiple light sources.

Technical: The reflection in the containers made it impossible to believe that you were looking at a sunrise in teh kitchen. Some contrast and darkening of the photo could have made the photo better.
