Thanks!! I took the main image (arm,hand, apple) and added the white and black borders as you see in the notes then I used the water paper filter in photoshop and masked off some of the hand and apple to get the sharpness back. then I think I may have used another filter over that to make it look more "painted" in some areas and did the same thing but I dont remember. then just used brushes in varying shades of red, brown, black, and grey(and varying opacities) over it to add the splattered/bloody look. thats it. :)
