This is a fun shot and a great idea. The background is really cool too! I was one of your twenty-three 7's. IMO you could have added a little more "WOW" to this with some sharpening to make the lines on his face real crisp, then some burning & dodging to add even more brightness & contrast to the stripes.

I don't find this shot boring at all. In fact, I was one of your seventeen 7's. The colors are marvelous and the steam is so cool. Nice choice on the crop & composition accenting the golden tones in the foreground yet pulling the eye deeper into the picture with the interesting smoke and vibrant sky. Nicely done. Just a challenge full of very good competition.

Very cute. Sweet model. The tight crop works well - in fact I wonder what it would look like if it was tighter still - maybe crop off the bottom two (or more) inches of the shot because the sweater is a bit hot so it distracts a little from the very well captured face. Again - great model beautifully captured - well done. 7

Nice composition and coloring here and it's nice to see different subject matter (even though I went with the boring "usual" myself! :) A couple of nits - I might have cropped a little off the left and the right (Crop Right to get rid of the distracting gold chair and Crop Left nearly up to the left edge of the doorway) and I might have desaturated the blue shirt on the guy standing in the hallway on the left - also a littl distracting. Overall nicely done. A glimpse into the life of the three individuals in green. 7

Very cute - typical little boy moment. I like the crop and the quiet color tones - and the black back works very well. His skin is a wee bit washed out on his chest but my eye goes to his face anyway. 7
