I like the concept of life in this image...the bud taking in it's surroundings, all 360 degrees, buoyed by the needed light. That blur gives it a cozy, but a bit ominous feel, accentuated by off the chart whites. I'm guessing you really like this image in that you presented what you know will not appeal to the masses. Well done.

This image bears a strong resemblance to this:



I like the diptych style created by the compositions, two interesting scenes in one frame, one more so than the other, but then it comes together as a whole. Makes for a dynamic photograph that keeps me enthralled. A lesson to be learned for anybody looking to improve their street or candids.
