I like the composition a lot!
This is a tough shot to get the lighting right for - as the subject, the rope, is way too bright for me - and yet, otherwise, you may not see the web well enough, so difficult in basic editing.
Excellent eye though, as the water background is makes the composition really cool. Definitely, "rope"!
(I'm guessing on camera flash was used, which can be harsh and eliminates shadows - try getting the light source to one side or the other for added shadows.)
