One man at workby HoochieComment: To get the bokeh effect in this image, it's important to focus on only one area - here the background really should be blurred to the extreme, or even the sign in the foreground. (Use manual focus and a wide open f-stop if possible)

Tomorrow's Beautyby XileboComment: I like the idea of using the full rose in the bokeh - poetic! Good choice for the title too.
My prefernce would be to tone down the brightness of the full bloom in the bokeh, to allow the subject to be more visible - but that gets tough in basic editing. Good entry! |

I would like to see the background repositioned somewhat behind the subject though - meaning during the initial camera placement. I think it could add to a stronger compositon. (just my preference) |
