My shots have been controversial at times. That's my forte, or lack of it !?! This is not the first time my shots provoke interest or disinterest. I agree with some comments below. Either you like it or dislike it. Rules are meant to be broken and I'm the artist.

Cheers and thanks for comments.

Is this for real?! Where does one take a photo like that? What a composition. I believe it is bokeh too and very interesting

I am afraid that this photo just doesnt work for me. The three elements: the hedge, the zebra, and the flower don't meld together, and compete for attention

the bokeh doesnt really add to the image.. the background and foreground do not compliment each other very well..

Yeah, this is about bokeh, but the bokeh is horrible: color bleeding, ghosting etc etc.

I had to come back a second time to really appreciate this image of the brokeh

Well the blurry background is the interestin gpart in this shot for sure. I am just not really sure how the in focus forefront really compliments the zebra. THey just feel like two independent items placed together for no reason.

Finally, something different! This is excellent!
(Tip - take advantage of the size rule, voters love that!)

Interesting choice of which subject to blur. I think most people would have preferred a sharp zebra, but this works well.

How fun this is... what a real cute pic. Nice concept.

The focus is on the red plant which is pretty but the zebra takes up so much of the frame that that is where the eye is drawn first (plus it is the lightest spot in the photo which tends to grab the eye) and it is quite out of focus. There is not a lot of enhancing bokeh other than the green area just beneath the nose of the zebra.

would have worked better if the zebra was not so dominant in the photo
