To the Lighthouse by ErikVComment: Excellent deep DOF. Super lighting... even and pleasant throughout. Great lighting on the far structure. Good sharpness and detail. I hate the frame, because it reduces the viewable portion of the image. I have no idea why you would add a frame. This image could win the challenge, except for the big distraction of the frame. 9 |

subwayby kolaComment: Deep DOF and vanishing lines effect. The crucial part of this image which makes the DOF evident is the texture in the floor in the foreground. Good job! |

sheep in cloverby rozComment: The DOF is deep/complete. The glare of a flash is too evident. If you selected a small aperture for this shot (evident by the foreground and bg in focus, the shutter speed would be somewhat slow. Your results are good... because the flash forced the shutter speed up to 1/60s.... maybe 1/200s. It worked, but generally, a small aperture reduces shutter speed enough to create motion blur concerns in the animal. An interesting image to reveiw. |

Lake Fog at Sunrise by hahn23Comment: Bear_Music, the foreground luminosity is less than the sky. And, I did work to accomplish the principle, of which you speak. |

Lake Fog at Sunrise by hahn23Comment: The image is level. The left shoreline curves away to the far end of the lake and then begins to curve back very slightly. |
