Great Horned Owl Nestlingby crikComment: Out here in Colorado, we call that owlet a branchling. Soon to be a fledgling. Your season is about 8 weeks ahead of ours, as our owls just laid eggs 10 days ago. Very nice wildlife image. Meets the challenge well. 10 (However, I'm pretty sure one or both adults GH Owls were close by.) |
