Not sure how this is going to be accepted. It's a contrived, staged, and busy image. For me, it's a story of time and how you can't get it back. The harsh jersey wall isolates my subject from what is known. The only path is forward down the trunk of the coconut tree.

I found it touching actually. Reminded me of desolated summers in empty cities, the torrid heat creeping on the concrete and bending light. Milan, in northern Italy, would fit the bill well.

great, quirky shot! The stripey blocks in the distance provide an interesting counterpoint, she can dream but the reality is not very far. congrats on the bling!

I love the line bifurcating the 2 paved surfaces set off by the tree trunk shadow. On the whole this stupendously defies.

Love the title with combination of the photo. I think the background is a little distracting... but it also adds detail (story) to the picture. Good choice here.

I love this idea, however, the composition is slightly off. It would have been better if you had the tree coming in at more of an angle and maybe a little less open space.
