Overviewby ciscocaliComment: The field of focus peters out just up where things start to get interesting. This would be a tough shot to make work, as the texture of the ceiling is going to compete with the foliage no matter what you do. |

Reaching for the Skyby MrsKroComment: This really shouldn't appeal to me - burnt patches of sky, loss in detail on the leaves, blue spill, etc., but it does somehow. I think it's the way you caught the light. I'd crop it from the left to make a vertical composition and avoid some of the distracting elements there. |

Reaching the skyby arnitComment: You getting creamed for insufficient lens elevation, too? It's a really nice catch. Wish I could see your settings. |

Getting Tyredby ManicComment: I'd have backed off the focus just a hair to get the bottom in, even if it meant losing some focus on the top. Sharp stuff. |

Untitledby itsaghostcarComment: Very nice. Took a while to decide, but I like the looming angle of the houses. That one lit window was a great bit of luck. I'd like the person's silhouette a little sharper, but I know it's hard to focus in the dark like that. Nicely done. |

No:130by VodkamanComment: Probably better in B/W, and cropped down to a 2:3 aspect ratio (can't decide if I like it better chopped from the top or bottom). Still, quite good. |

...and Justice for Allby DigiteyesComment: Nice with the right side cropped away to make a vertical. The apparent alignment between the plane's course and the angle of the flag is really good. Shame the flag bunched up in the shadow like that. Could you have your friend fly by again? |

Budby MaYzComment: Kind of wonder why you didn't go portrait orientation for this. I think it kind of works like this (the biscuit is good stuff), but I'm sure others have voted low because of it, and there's no crowd-pleaser like a puppy face. |
